Kellen (boy)
- its the name of a close friend of ours. i just love the sound of it. i tell him all the time that i am naming my first son after him.
- Like really well with James --Kellen James , came up with this one when I wanted to come up with a name after my dad Kelly, but he told me not to name a boy kelly because he thinks it sounds like a girl name, so Kellen was a nice alternative.
Kellen can be a Scottish surname, a variant of McKellen, which means "son of Alan." It can also stand as an anglicization of the modern Welsh name Celyn /KEL in/ which means "holly." As of 2010 it was #212 for boys in the US top 7000 and #1166 for girls.
